Independent Test Results
Conclusions
Test 1: At a treat rate of 1 to 2000 the MG22D fuel additive produced significant emissions reductions and produced an overall decrease in fuel consumption. Subsequent lube oil analysis also showed that the additive had no detrimental affects on the engine oil.
– 1. All NO/NOX emissions showed a marked decrease.
– 2. Formaldehyde emission decreased an average of 27% overall (this is due to the lack of primary alcohols in the mixture and more complete combustion of the fuel).
– 3. Fuel economy improved ~4% overall.
– 4. No induced brittleness occurred in the engine seals.
– 5. No reactions or corrosion to metal parts
occurred

Test 2: At a treat rate of 1 to 2000 the MG22D fuel additive produced significant emissions reductions and produced a marked decrease in fuel consumption. Subsequent lube oil analysis also showed that the additive had no detrimental affects on the engine oil.
– 1. All of the NO/NOX emissions showed a marked decrease. Emission reductions reached as high as 15%. Overall emissions on CO, CO2 & NO at 3 typical engine speeds were noted and recorded.
– 2. Fuel economy improved from 7.73 mpg to 9.13 mpg for an 15.3% increase.
– 3. Lube oil testing showed no significant changes in any of the key specifications.
